The Fischerviertel, old fishermen's quarter, is the most evocative and magical corner of Ulm. Picturesque alleys, cobbled streets and delightful jumpers through the Blau waters that flow in the nearby Danube. Strolling between the channels they meet at the Alte Münz, an ancient building in the Renaissance style and the Schiefes Haus (www.hotelschiefeshausulm.de), which is not only a hotel, but the historic building of Ulm par excellence, dated 1500. It entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the most crooked house of Europe. The rooms, with very old wooden beams, but recently restored, have sloped floors.
